About Pete

Meet Pete β€” this happy boy is ready for his forever home! Rescued from the euthanasia list as a puppy, he’s defied the odds, even overcoming distemper. After months of care, Pete is now about 8.5 months old and weighing around 50 lbs. He’s fully vaccinated and still has some growing to do. With his playful and curious personality, Pete thrives on adventure. He loves splashing in water, exploring new places, and being part of family activities. Affectionate and social, he enjoys the company of both human and animal friends, getting along well with dogs, cats, and even larger animals like pigs and horses. Though he can be a bit picky with food, given his past, we think he deserves to have a say at mealtime. More than anything, Pete is eager to embrace life and is looking for an active family to share adventures with. Interested in adopting or fostering him? We’d love to chat! What are you waiting for?
