About Penny

Find a Penny, pick her up, and all day long you’ll have good luck! Penny is about 1 year old and is packed with personality in her perfectly sized, 24-pound frame. Her adorable long body, short legs, and charming light greenish eyes give a good hint of her Corgi heritage. Those ears? They’re still debating whether to stand up, droop down, or settle somewhere in between. Penny adores toys, chews, and playtime with other dogs. She playfully persisted with her foster brother until he just had to join in the fun, and we’d call that a win! She’s both crate trained and house trained and has received a clean bill of health from the vet. Penny isn't fond of water, so she might need some gentle persuasion when it comes to bath time. She needs a home where her playful spirit can shine, preferably with another dog to join her antics. Penny will be spayed prior to adoption and is current on vaccinations and microchipped. With an adoption fee of $300, she's ready to find her forever home right here in Bettendorf, IA. Please submit an application to meet her; scheduled meet and greets are required as we aren’t a shelter location. Adopters should live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities and all pets in the household need to be up-to-date on shots and fixed. Click apply to start the adoption process.
