About Gary

Meet Gary, a loving and affectionate boy with a remarkable story of resilience. Gary is incredibly friendly and enjoys cheek scratches, often rubbing against people to seek attention. His journey has been anything but easy. After being attacked in Waterbury, CT, he underwent four surgeries, including having his tail amputated. Even during recovery, Gary's sweet nature shone through, showing affection to the veterinary staff who cared for him. Now in foster care, he's doing fantastic! Despite a slight limp, he jumps, plays, gets the zoomies, and loves hanging out high on the cat tree. Gary's playful spirit and zest for life are evident. He’s around three years old, fully vetted, and ready for his forever home. While he enjoys the company of other cats, he also values his personal space. He can be held, though it’s not his favorite. Gary has even gotten along with a small dog, showing his adaptable nature. After everything he’s been through, Gary deserves a safe and loving environment where he can continue to thrive and soak up all the affection he can get. Your new best friend is just one click away.
