Meet Fozzie! Fozzie is a 3-year-old, 20-pound Yorkie and Chihuahua mix on the lookout for a patient and loving family to help him feel secure. He can be shy around new faces, but once he trusts you, he forms strong bonds and loves to be close to his favorite humans. Having someone around during the day would be ideal for him, as he thrives on companionship. This little guy strikes a lovely balance between playful energy and cozy cuddle time. He enjoys zooming around the yard, showing off his enthusiastic antics, and then happily settling onto a lap for relaxation. Belly rubs are a must for him, and he eagerly welcomes extra affection once he feels comfortable. Fozzie enjoys the company of other dogs and would benefit from having a canine buddy in his new home. A friendly dog can help him adjust and offer companionship throughout his day. Fozzie does experience some anxiety when left alone. His foster family has started him on clomipramine to help manage this anxiety, which he will need support with as he adapts. He hasn’t walked on a leash yet, so patience is essential for gradual introductions if leash walks become part of his routine. A physically fenced yard is required to safely enjoy his outdoor activities. This sweet boy has been neutered, has his vaccinations up to date, has been heartworm tested, and is microchipped. Fozzie came to Fur Fun Rescue as part of a family with Morgi and Solly, and he is now seeking a home that understands the needs of a shy little dog. With time, belly rubs, and a cozy lap, he will develop a special bond with his new family.
