Xia, pronounced She-uh, is a 6-year-old female Galgo who really needs a calm, understanding adopter. She’s very nervous and would do best with someone patient who appreciates her unique personality and will help her come out of her shell without pressure. For the past few weeks, she’s been in a multi-dog foster home and is slowly making progress. Xia is beginning to bond with her foster mom, wagging her tail and showing excitement when she comes home. However, she remains timid around new people and prefers to observe from a safe distance. Xia often stays on the couch, only venturing outside when she’s encouraged, and while she enjoys it, she would benefit from a structured routine and at least one other dog to help her build confidence. Xia's journey is heartwarming, and with the right home that’s calm and stable, she will truly flourish. Fostered in Winter Park, FL, she is adoptable to many areas across the USA.
