About Moose

Meet Moose! Moose isn’t your average cat — he’s a large gray tuxedo gentleman, complete with a crisp white bib and mittens, and he knows he looks great. This young adult male is sturdy and soft. Moose loves being near his people, whether he’s supervising from the couch, enjoying chin scratches, or sprawled out to show off that handsome belly. He plays in a goofy young-adult style, enjoying feather wands, crinkle balls, and batting toys around. But he's also calm and affectionate, content to loaf beside you. Moose is FIV+, which means he carries the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. However, he can live a long and happy life indoors. FIV+ cats don’t transmit the virus to people or dogs, and it spreads between cats primarily through deep bite wounds. Fortunately, Moose can live safely with other mellow cats. He'll thrive indoors with good food and regular vet checkups. If you’re looking for a big, sweet, dapper companion with plenty of love to share, Moose is your guy.
