About Chiquita Bonita

Meet Chiquita Bonita! This charming senior lady, around 12 years old, is ready to find her forever companion. She joined us from a southern shelter, so her background is a bit of a mystery. However, her time in foster care has helped us learn more about her personality. Chiquita takes a little time to adjust to new faces, but when she does, she forms a strong bond with one special person. While she can be territorial about her favorite human, she generally gets along well with other dogs, assuming they respect her space. Chiquita prefers indoor comforts, trained to use pee pads, especially when the weather is chillyโ€”after all, this southern girl has her standards! She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with her vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. If you think you're the person Chiquita has been waiting for, reach out to our adoption team for more information!
