About Artemis

Meet Artemis, a delightful 8-month-old puppy weighing around 20 pounds. This sweet girl arrived at the shelter with her brother Ashton and, like him, she's been feeling a bit lost in the chaos of shelter life. It's a big, overwhelming place for such a young pup. Artemis has a shy and timid disposition, but beneath that exterior lies a gentle spirit that's hard to resist. She's shown interest in other dogs but is still getting her bearings and doesn’t engage too much just yet. Walking on a leash is going well for her, with only a little tugging here and there. Her treat-taking skills are adorable; she does it so gently. With a bit of time and love, Artemis will flourish into a playful and joyful companion. She's just waiting for someone to create a safe space for her to express her puppy personality—playing, exploring, and enjoying life with her new family. Somewhere out there is the perfect family who can help this precious girl feel secure again. We can't wait for her to find them!
