Kyle is a male Domestic Short Hair cat, a lovely senior at 9 years old. He is altered, vaccinated, and requires a special home where he can be the only pet due to his FIV positive status. Located in Prattville, AL, he deserves the warmth of a family that understands his needs.

About Kyle

Kyle is a 9-year-old neutered male cat who needs a compassionate home. He was surrendered by his owner and is now at the shelter, requiring special attention due to being FIV positive. This means he has a lifelong viral infection that weakens his immune system, similar to HIV in humans. To keep him safe and ensure other cats are protected, Kyle is kept in isolation, which is a temporary situation until he finds a loving home. He should be the only cat in the household due to the contagious nature of FIV. Kyle is a beautiful and playful kitty who thrives on love and attention. If you've had experience caring for FIV positive cats and are willing to provide him with a safe space, please consider reaching out to meet him. Every animal deserves a happy ending, and Kyle is no exception.
