About Helga

Meet Helga, your fun-loving and loyal sidekick! Named after the spirited character from Hey Arnold!, she embodies that big personality and an even bigger heart. Helga is approximately 1.5 years old and weighs 45 lbs. This American Staffordshire Terrier is playful, affectionate, and eager to learn. She enjoys rolling in the grass, chasing toys, giving kisses, and staying active. While she loves affection, she’s also all about keeping busy—this girl is more adventure-seeker than couch potato! Recently, she completed obedience training, much to her foster mom’s pride. Helga was rescued from a city shelter where she faced being placed on the euthanasia list. Thanks to Nate & Snoops Dog House, she’s thriving in foster care and learning what it means to be part of a loving family. Helga is looking for an active, patient family that understands her breed and is excited to help her learn and grow. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys adventures. She may do well with another dog who matches her playful energy, but she could be happy as your one-and-only pup too. Given her playful nature, she’d thrive in a home with children ages 8 and up. Her crate is her safe space, and she’s learning to enjoy it more each day. She prefers quiet meals and treats inside her kennel, and she thrives on playful activities and boundaries. If you’re seeking a dog who will bring laughter, keep you active, and love you wholeheartedly, Helga could be the perfect match for you. Ready to meet her? Start your adventure together!
