About Marshmallow

Meet Marshmallow, affectionately known as Mushi! She’s a charming companion who’s about 3-4 years old and has a unique, squishy face that resembles a hamster. Marshmallow has faced challenges, including severely impaired vision, likely due to a congenital issue or an untreated respiratory infection. She also bears an adorable crinkled ear from a past hematoma, adding to her distinctive look. These imperfections only enhance her beauty. In spite of her struggles, Mushi exudes sweetness. She enjoys being close to her people and is happiest just sharing the same space. While she’s not yet a cuddly lap cat—her poor eyesight makes her a bit cautious about touch—she’ll build confidence once settled in a loving home. In her downtime, Mushi loves to watch her favorite show, Bear in the Big Blue House, lounge nearby, or play with her beloved catnip toys. The ideal home for Mushi would be a quiet one without children and free of other pets, as she tends to get startled by sudden movements. Her perfect adopter will understand that trust takes time and will support Mushi's journey towards feeling safe and secure.
