About Apollo

Apollo had a family once who left him outside during their overseas travels. One day they didn’t come back, leaving him alone and abandoned. Thankfully, kind neighbors fed him until he disappeared for a long while. When he returned, he was matted, wounded, and clearly distressed. The community rallied to get him to a veterinarian where he was treated for his injuries and neutered. With the help of a Heartland foster, he found a new chance at life. At around 10-12 years old, Apollo was initially withdrawn, staying curled up and quiet. However, he has started to flourish in his new environment. Now, he eagerly greets visitors and loves to snuggle up close. Apollo enjoys being brushed and petted, often playfully reaching out for more affection. He also loves to give gentle kisses. Though he is FIV+, requiring indoor living and prompt medical attention for any health concerns, he does not need medications. Apollo is neutered, microchipped, negative for FELV, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. This gentle fluffball could be the perfect laid-back companion for you!
