About Brody
Meet Brody, a delightful 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male mix of Cattle Dog and Pit Bull. Brody is full of playful energy while also wanting nothing more than a cozy day curled up on the couch with you. Currently in foster care in Houston, Texas, Brody is ready to head to his forever home after the approval process. His charm is evident whether he’s pawing at a toy in the yard or seeking a good snuggle. That trademark tongue-out smile makes everyone fall for him instantly! Brody enjoys the company of friendly, relaxed female dogs and is okay as the only pup, preferably with a yard where he can run and play freely. He's great with children but does best in homes with dog-savvy kids aged 8 and up. Cats, however, are not in his realm of comfort; he doesn’t know how to share space with them yet. Gentle and calm on the leash, Brody is also house trained and crate trained. His smart, eager-to-please nature means he thrives in structured environments. With the right guidance, he’s proven how well he can adapt. If you have experience with Cattle Dogs, Pit Bulls, or similar breeds, Brody could be your perfect match. He loves the outdoors but doesn’t require extreme activity—just a couple of daily walks and some mental stimulation. Brody is ready to start his next chapter with a loving family that can appreciate his unique character and affectionate spirit. Your new best friend awaits you! Ready to fall in love?
