About Hostas

Meet Hostas, an adorably unique tuxedo cat with striking white markings and tiny black "sleeves" that give him the look of a dapper little gentleman. At just six months old, this young male has a lively spirit that combines sweetness with a hint of silliness. Hostas arrived at our care from a shelter in New York City, and with the help of our behavior team, he’s become a charming little socialite. He's now discovering that humans are great companions and enjoys curling up on laps, especially during work hours, often positioning himself in office chairs as the tiniest coworker. He delights in seeking out affectionate pets, purring happily as he leans into the attention. This playful fellow thrives on interaction. He especially loves wand toys and has a talent for transforming routine moments into amusing antics. While he may start off a bit shy around new faces, don’t be surprised when he surprises you with a visit for some gentle petting once he feels comfortable. Because transitions can take some time for Hostas, it’s important for his new family to be patient as he settles into a new home. Once he feels secure, his endearing personality shines brilliantly. If you’re looking for a quirky little companion who might claim your chest or office chair as his favorite spot, Hostas might be your perfect match. Ready to fall in love?
