About Cooper

Cooper is on the lookout for a forever home, and he doesn’t want to wait too long. This energetic male German Shepherd mix, black and tan in color, thrives with companionship. At 5 years old, he’s fully vaccinated and brings vibrancy to any setting. Previously, he lived with Momma Jean, who sadly passed away, and then moved in with her son Dan and his dog, Lucy. Lucy, a spayed 6-year-old Shiba mix with charming yellow and white fur and a unique cloudy eye, complements Cooper beautifully. They share an undeniable bond, resembling a dynamic duo that brightens any room. Together, they are housebroken, good with children, and reportedly cat friendly. Both enjoy large backyards and avoid mischief like digging or climbing fences. They respond well when called, sit on command, and love to chase after thrown toys. Lucy often lets Cooper do the heavy lifting before swooping in to claim the prize. After losing Dan unexpectedly, they now live together in his home while family members prepare it for sale. With no one to take them in permanently, Cooper and Lucy are in urgent need of a loving family. They both have solid barks, keen to alert you of anything amiss but are simply excited to greet you. Their hearts are full of love; consider giving these two happy companions the stable home they've been waiting for.
