About Turbo
Turbo is a few years old Mini Australian Shepherd, just beginning to explore life outside a breeding environment. He can startle easily but is learning that the world, and especially humans, can be safe. Most comfortable in his kennel, Turbo is primarily kennel trained but may bark occasionally and has had some accidents. He is housebroken for short periods but will need a patient home understanding that these moments are part of his journey. Consistency is key to his growth. Right now, Turbo is fearful of people and isn't the kind of dog to approach strangers for affection. He's not yet comfortable with a leash, so a secure, fenced-in backyard is a must, along with a commitment to gentle, positive leash training. While he finds people daunting, he thrives around other animals. Cats are fine with him, and he does very well with confident dogs who can help him gain confidence over time. Turbo has already shown potential for deep bonds; he loves his foster mom and will snuggle up to her during quiet moments. This sensitive soul needs patience, structure, and kindness, but with the right home, Turbo can learn to trust and become a truly devoted companion. If you think you have the time and patience to help Turbo thrive, apply to adopt him today!
