Currently weighing about 3 pounds, she’s the smallest of her litter with an estimated adult weight of 8 to 10 pounds. Gemma’s early life was tough; she was born outside in a bush in Fresno. Thanks to a caring individual, she found her way to safety and now thrives in foster care with Underdog Animal Rescue. Though she can be a bit timid when meeting new people, once Gemma feels secure, her playful and silly side shines through. She’s become a great car companion, is working on crate training, and is beginning her journey toward puppy manners. Gemma needs a patient and loving family who understands that building her confidence will take time. She’s looking for someone to help her discover the world at her own pace, preferably in a home with another friendly, confident dog. Gemma is ready for a special family willing to celebrate her little victories and guide her in becoming the confident, happy companion we know she can be.
