About Phoenix
Phoenix is a beautiful Dutch Shepherd with a stunning brindle coat and expressive ears. This gentle two-year-old girl has a soulful personality and may be a bit shy at first, but there's a curious and affectionate side ready to come out. During playgroup, she initially kept her distance from the other dogs but gradually gained confidence, sought affection from her handlers, and joined in on some gentle play. She's smart, loyal, and attentive to those around her. As a spayed female weighing 56 pounds, Phoenix is microchipped and ready to find her forever home. She has a medium energy level and knows how to sit, showing signs of being housetrained. Though she can be a bit timid on a leash, with some continued socialization and confidence building, she is sure to flourish. Phoenix is tolerant and non-reactive with larger dogs, although small dogs have not been assessed. She needs a patient, loving adopter who can provide her with the time and support she needs to blossom into her true self. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
