About Lacie
Lacie is a resilient 7-year-old spayed female Dachshund mix who has overcome a challenging past. Rescued as a stray from a shelter where she showed signs of abuse, Lacie required time to adjust and feel safe again. Despite her history, she is eager to trust and has adapted beautifully to her new environment. She thrives in the company of other dogs and absolutely adores the resident cat. Lacie enjoys playful moments and has a fondness for toys, often gathering them together in her safe space. While she needs a gentle approach to feel secure when being picked up, she has shown no aggression, preferring to communicate her discomfort with a cry if startled. Lacie is progressing well with her housebreaking but will flourish best in a calm home without children. Ideally, she would love a companion who works from home, allowing her the comfort of company throughout the day. This sweet girl deserves a nurturing environment where she can finally feel at ease and cherished. Make Lacie’s future brighter — she is ready for a forever home!
