About Bear
Meet Bear—100 pounds of love and joy wrapped in a handsome black coat! Despite struggling early in life, he's made tremendous progress since being rescued from Carson Shelter. After spending almost four months with his foster family, Bear is thriving and showcasing his goofy personality. These days, Bear enjoys cozy naps and playful moments with his foster sister, a large pit bull he adores. Bear is neutered, fully potty trained, and loves his crate. He’s completed three weeks of training, exhibiting excellent leash manners and a solid grasp of basic commands. While he gets along with dogs, Bear can be wary of unfamiliar ones and requires slow introductions. He would thrive in a home with a yard and no small children; this big, wiggly boy often forgets his size! Bear is ready to give and receive the love he deserves. Could you be the family to provide him with the patience and security needed for a happy future? Bear’s journey can lead to a brighter chapter—start it by completing an application online!
