About Hickory

Meet Hickory! This sweet Pit Bull mix is just 8 months old and weighs around 25 lbs. He has truly blossomed since arriving at the shelter, having overcome a rough start as a stray in poor condition, complete with a healed bite wound on his shoulder. Hickory is now gaining weight and is ready to find a loving family who will spoil him with affection. Hickory has a big heart and is eager for companionship. He enjoys walks in the yard, giving kisses, and receiving all kinds of attention. He particularly loves belly rubs and those delightful butt scratches. One aspect to note about Hickory is his enthusiastic eating—he tends to scarf down his food quickly, so a slow feeder might help him take his time during mealtimes.
