About Houston
Meet Houston, a wonderful companion looking for his forever family. Heโs around 5 years old and weighs approximately 21 lbs. Rescued by Mostly Mutts, he's grateful for the love he's received and is excited to find a new home. Houston has met other dogs but felt a bit unsure, so if you have a dog at home, a meet-and-greet would be best. His history with cats is unknown. While he hasn't interacted with kids yet, itโs advised to avoid toddlers, as he may inadvertently bump into them. With a calm and sweet demeanor, Houston is a joy to be around. He held his own during bath time and enjoyed posing for photos, showing off his handsome looks. With an energy level around 4-6, he enjoys gentle walks and, more than anything, the company of his humans. Though he doesn't know any commands yet, Mostly Mutts offers free ongoing training for all adopted dogs, so you can work together to build new skills. Houston is doing well with crate and potty training, and he loves attention and companionship. Health-wise, heโs up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. He does have moderate tartar buildup on his teeth, and his future family might consider a dental cleaning. Plus, he has a collapsing trachea, so a harness is recommended to keep him comfortable. Houston is just a delightful little guy ready to share his sweetness with the right family. His adoption fee is covered, so he's eager to find a loving home in Kennesaw, GA. Your new best friend is just one click away.
