About Seamus

Seamus is a neutered 2.5-year-old mixed-breed dog, combining the charm of an Irish Setter and a Golden Retriever. He weighs a healthy 70 pounds, having regained strength after a difficult period in his previous home. Seamus is easygoing and loves to spend quality time with his humans. Chasing birds in the backyard, cuddling, and presenting his favorite stuffed toy are among his favorite pastimes. He gets along well with other dogs, although his play style can be a bit exuberant; he also does well with children. While his reaction to cats is unknown, his friendly demeanor suggests he could adapt well. As an active breed, Seamus needs plenty of exercise, making a fenced yard ideal for keeping him engaged. He’s comfortable in a crate and is completely housetrained. He knows basic commands and has a solid recall, but working on his leash manners will help him shine even more. Seamus would bring endless joy and affection to any home. His warm spirit and playful nature have already brightened the lives of those around him. Click apply to start the adoption process.
