Ozzy
AvailableOzzy is a 5-month-old male mixed-breed dog, likely a Carolina Dog mix, weighing approximately medium size. He boasts a yellow/tan coat and is both altered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Ozzy is crate trained and showing progress in leash training, but he still has some anxious moments. Located in Green Bay, WI, he is ready to find a loving forever home.
About Ozzy
Ozzy is a sweet, affectionate little guy who loves nothing more than snuggling up with his favorite people. He enjoys couch cuddles, head scratches, ear rubs, and giving puppy kisses. Just give him a good ear rub, and he might melt right into your lap! His playful side shines through as well—he delights in chewing on toys, playing with stuffies, and wrestling with his sister, Harriet. Still learning about the world, Ozzy needs a patient family to help build his confidence. New faces can make him nervous, causing him to bark from a distance until he’s ready to approach. But once he trusts you, his affectionate personality truly shines. Ozzy is also improving his leash skills. Initially, he found the leash daunting, but he’s made great strides and is now more comfortable heading outdoors. That said, he remains sensitive to neck pressure and unfamiliar sounds, so walks should start slowly to build his confidence. Doing well with crate training, he settles in nicely when it's time to relax. When left loose and unsupervised, however, he can be a bit mischievous, so management is advised as he learns the ropes. Ozzy has been around other dogs and has fared well with some smaller resident dogs; however, introductions to new companions need to be handled with care. He’s an energetic, cuddly boy with tremendous potential. He’ll need a family ready to invest time to help him gain confidence and continue his training. In return, you’ll gain a loving companion who thrives on closeness. If you have a soft spot for pups who need a little extra patience while they discover the world, Ozzy might be your ideal match!
