Milo is a large, male Akita with a long coat, currently residing in Clayton, NJ. He is house trained and has received all vaccinations. Altered and ready for his forever home, Milo is an adult looking for a family that understands his needs and can provide him with patience and guidance. This handsome boy is both playful and friendly, making him a wonderful companion for the right owner.

About Milo

Meet Milo! This handsome Akita is three years old and weighs a solid 90 pounds. He found himself searching for a loving home after being surrendered by his previous owner, and now he's eager to start fresh with a committed family. Milo is friendly with other dogs, although he does have food-guarding tendencies, so it's best that he is fed separately in a multi-dog household. We're also looking for a home with children aged 15 and older, as his size and behavior require a bit more care. As an Akita, Milo thrives under experienced leadership. He would greatly benefit from leash training to enhance his confidence during walks. With your guidance and structure, he has the potential to become an excellent companion. If you have experience with Akitas and are ready to invest the time and patience Milo deserves, he could be your perfect match. Could you provide Milo with the second chance he needs? Apply now!
