Possum is a small, male, adult Shiba Inu mix who brings love and courage to everyone he meets. He is neutered, vaccinated, and mostly house trained. While he's still perfecting his potty skills, he enjoys cuddles, and car rides and has a heart full of affection for his humans. Possum needs a special home where he can thrive and be cherished.

About Possum

Possum is around five years old and was discovered abandoned, suffering from mange earlier this year. After treatment for demodex mange, he's had persistent skin issues despite ongoing care. This sweet boy needs a new foster home or a forever adopter. Possum gets along well with most dogs, though he's had some disputes with the alpha dog in his current foster home. For this reason, he requires a new environment. He's a cuddle bug who enjoys being close to his humans. His food resource guarding means he eats in his kennel while other dogs are fed, but he’s mostly potty trained and knows his way around a kennel. He loves car rides too.
