About Bern

Meet Bern! This spunky 8-10 year old poodle mix has a story that starts sadly. She was abandoned at a rural shelter, left without care or concern. Fortunately, we rescued her and provided the necessary care, which included shaving off the mats clinging to her coat and tending to her severely injured eye. Now in her foster home, she's getting the love and comfort she deserves, embracing her new life. We affectionately call her a "grumpy ol' lady" because she thrives in a peaceful environment with adults. Bern does not get along with other animals, preferring a serene setting where she can unwind. This special senior is looking for a calm, loving forever home to spend her golden years peacefully. We promised her that the rest of her life would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?
