About Balto

Meet Balto. This handsome senior Husky is looking for a loving home to enjoy his golden years. Surrendered due to his owner's medical issues, Balto is ready to start fresh with a family who understands his needs. At nine and a half years old, Balto experiences some anxiety and has needed medication to help manage it. Thankfully, he is potty trained and has a refined palate—peanut butter and dog cookies are among his favorites, along with a sprinkle of cheese on his food to entice him. Balto has never lived with other dogs or cats, so his compatibility with other animals remains unclear. He does require regular grooming, as his coat mats easily, especially in the summer heat. If you’re prepared to give this senior gentleman the loving home he deserves, come meet Balto!
