About Dixie
Meet Dixie! This 3-year-old gentle giant, who's a Labrador Retriever and Husky mix, has a heart bursting with love and a goofy smile that could brighten anyone's day. She’s ready to enjoy an early retirement with plenty of snuggles and friendship. Dixie's fully house-trained and knows her basic commands, which include “sit” and “crate.” She adores car rides, walks, and playing fetch, but her favorite activity is relaxing on the couch with her person. Dixie thrives in a calm household and would prefer older kids or no kids at all. She has no understanding of personal space when it comes to cats, often thinking they’re new friends to chase and hug, so a cat-free home is a must. While she gets along well with other dogs, she would also be happy as the only pet, soaking up all the attention. Dixie enjoys socializing but prefers a quieter lifestyle, so she’s looking for a home where she can unwind and live life at her own pace. Whether it’s taking a stroll, playing fetch, or curling up for a Netflix binge, she’s all in as long as she’s with her favorite person. This lovable girl is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to bring joy to her new home. If you think you could be the one Dixie has been waiting for, please fill out an application!
