About Helen
Meet Helen, an extraordinary girl looking for a loving and safe home. Helen’s journey hasn’t been easy; she came to us after being abandoned at a firehouse in Detroit. At around 4 years old, this mixed breed dog faces unique medical challenges that require a caring and compassionate foster. Helen is blind and has a mass near her neck that affects her spinal cord. While we’re still determining the best treatment options for her, one thing is clear: she deserves all the love and comfort we can give. It is essential for her to find a foster home where she can build trust in an unfamiliar world filled with new sounds and smells. Helen needs someone patient who can help her navigate her surroundings, establish a daily routine, and encourage her to thrive. While she might not know she’s different, she is eager to learn and will flourish in a supportive environment. If you believe you can be Helen's safe haven, we’re here to help. Together, we can provide her with the home she’s always deserved. Interested in fostering? Please reach out to A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue. Sharing her story can also help find someone special to open their heart to her. Let’s show Helen she will never face the world alone again. Every dog deserves love, and this one starts with you.
