About Garfield

Garfield is a charming cat who was part of a TNR (trap-neuter-release) program in Port of Wilmington, DE. His friendly demeanor convinced us that he deserved a second chance at a loving home instead of being released back into the wild. Now in foster care in Berwyn, PA, Garfield is waiting to find his forever family. This lovable guy is FIV positive, but he can live harmoniously with other cats if they get along peacefully. Garfield is full of personality! When he arrived, he was covered in dirt and smelled of urine. With some help, he quickly learned to enjoy grooming and now revels in the comfort of a soft plush bed and the magic of being brushed. His unique meows range from a quiet sound that might resemble a hiss to a more dog-like squeak. He may be a bit skittish at first, but his love for human touch makes it easy for him to approach for affection. Garfield loves his food, especially wet food, so scheduled meals are ideal for him. You'll often find him watching birds and squirrels for hours, captivated by the world outside. He doesn’t ask for much but has so much love to give. Garfield would make a delightful addition to any family looking for a gentle companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
