About Lucy
Meet Lucy! This charming girl is a fluffy bundle of love, loyalty, and character, weighing in at 78 lbs. With her roots as an Australian Shepherd/Collie mix, she’s looking for a place to finally call home after spending much of her life in a shelter environment. Lucy’s journey began when animal control picked her up as a puppy. For years, she was known to the staff, and her story took a heartbreaking turn when her owner was incarcerated. Despite the kindness of those from the homeless camp who tried to care for her, Lucy found herself searching for food and companionship around a gas station dumpster. When an officer recognized her one night, he knew she deserved better. After months of uncertainty, it’s time for Lucy to find her forever home. She thrives on connection and is incredibly people-oriented, waiting patiently for someone to choose her permanently. Lucy deserves a warm bed, security, and, importantly, companionship. She gets along well with dogs, making her a sweet addition to any furry family. If you’re ready to provide Lucy the loving, stable home she’s been longing for, please reach out for more information.
