Meet Khloe, our big girl bursting with love! This sweet female Terrier/Lab mix is looking for a foster or forever home. At about 1.5 years old, Khloe weighs around 59 lbs and has a playful spirit. She gets along great with other dogs, although we haven't seen her with cats or kids yet. Khloe needs someone who will take her for daily walks, enjoy sniffari adventures, and engage in fun games, followed by plenty of cozy naps. She's eager to learn and would love to attend dog school to showcase her intelligence. Currently, Khloe is at a South Carolina shelter but is hoping to find her new family in the DC area. While she tested positive for heartworms, she is in a program that offers treatment, and it won't affect her long-term as long as she's on preventative medication.
