About Sandy

Meet Sandy, a lively mix of Husky with the energy of an Energizer Bunny. At just a year and a half, he boasts enough enthusiasm to brighten up any home. Sandy was surrendered to the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH, when his family could no longer care for him, but his spirit remains unbroken. Sandy is a whirlwind of fun, mastering his zoomies with Olympic-level precision. He’ll need some space to unleash that energy, ideally a backyard where he can take off. When he’s not speeding around, Sandy enjoys walks, playing fetch, and savoring frozen carrot pieces like a gourmet treat. He gets along well with other dogs and kids, even being gentle around babies. Smart and motivated, he’s crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands, with “roll over” currently in the works. Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, and chipped, Sandy is ready to find an active and loving family to call his own. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
