About Scout

Meet Scout! This handsome fellow was found wandering around the front of a Denny’s, perhaps hoping for some pancakes! We searched for his family, but no one came forward. Thankfully, a wonderful foster family stepped up, and Scout has been thriving ever since. An Australian Shepherd mix through and through, Scout is loyal, energetic, and ridiculously handsome. He is absolutely obsessed with his ball. If you want a companion who will fetch the same ball 147 times without getting tired, Scout is the guy for you. He does wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes, loves people, and is just an all-around fantastic friend. Scout is potty trained, kennel trained, and full of love to give. However, it’s worth noting that Australian Shepherds are not for everyone. They are smart and active, needing families who understand that a pretty face is paired with a busy brain and plenty of energy. Scout deserves a home that appreciates his breed’s unique qualities, filled with adventures and an endless supply of tennis balls. Scout is located in Houston, Texas, but is available for adoption nationwide. His $600 adoption fee includes transportation to his forever home. Ready to find out if Scout is your next best friend?
