About Mandy
Meet Mandy—long legs, lovely eyeliner, and a playful spirit! At 2 years old and weighing 23 pounds, this sleek beauty is all about sweet, adventurous fun. For months, she lingered near a Dutch Bros in the Rio Grande Valley, waiting for someone to buy her a coffee and offer her a forever home. Now, she’s ready to leave drive-through life behind and settle into a family of her own. With her charming eyeliner and those ears that can’t decide whether to stand up or flop down, Mandy is both agile and inquisitive. She'd make an excellent companion for walking, hiking, or running. Quick to say hello to other dogs, she greets them with an adorable play bow that screams, "Let’s go ZOOM!" However, potential adopters should know that Mandy needs a secure environment. She's quite the climber and jumper, easily scaling chain-link fences. On her first day, she made quite the entrance by hopping onto an igloo doghouse and leaping over a wooden fence to check out the cat house! Thankfully, she didn't venture too far and returned quickly. Her new home should focus on supervised outdoor time, secure barriers, and moving any potential launch pads away from the fence. Mandy is eager for adventures with her people, and she’s looking for a home where she can explore while always coming back to her loved ones.
