About Tyson

Meet Tyson! Tyson is a 3-year-old Staffy mix with a huge heart and an even bigger desire for cuddles. Weighing 73 lbs, this sweet, goofy guy was sadly left behind when his previous family moved, spending nearly two years at a sanctuary before landing in a loving foster home. Now, he's ready for his forever family. Tyson’s best qualities include being a cuddle champion—his love language is definitely touch, and he absolutely adores belly rubs and snuggling. He's people-oriented, affectionate, and social, always wanting to be close to his humans. With a mellow vibe, Tyson is perfectly content to relax after a short walk or lounge around at home. A few things to note about Tyson: he gets along with dogs outside of the home with the right introductions, but he thrives as the only pup indoors. While he has moderate anxiety, he does not exhibit separation anxiety, and he’s still building confidence with dog socialization over time. Tyson has shown respect and quietness around children and cats, although we don't know his exact behavior with them. Tyson is currently in a single-story home with a small yard and is comfortable with varying energy levels. His ideal match is a person or family seeking a loyal and low-maintenance cuddle buddy, happy just to be near their loved ones. If you're looking for a sweet, snuggly companion who's been patiently waiting for a second chance, Tyson might be the perfect fit. His adoption fee is $250, covering his first-year vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
