About Pongo

Meet Pongo, a unique soul who, despite his classic Dalmatian name, stands out like a snowflake. At 5 years old and weighing 72 lbs, he’s journeyed from being a terrified dog to a sweet companion. When he came to our rescue, he was so frightened that any attention would send him into a panic. With a lot of patience, he’s gradually built his confidence and is now ready to show his playful side. Pongo loves to be near people, often putting his front paws on his foster mom’s lap for the best angle to receive kisses and pets. He enjoys playing outside with the other dogs in his foster home and is also good with cats. House trained and comfortable in his crate, he still takes time to warm up to new people, but he becomes more comfortable with each new friend he meets. Once he trusts you, you’ll see his happy, playful Dalmatian spirit shine through. Pongo is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.
