About Candy

Candy is as sweet as her name suggests. Although she's a bit shy and uncertain, she really wishes to make friends. When you approach her kennel with the leash, she does the happy paw dance but often chooses to stay in her comfort zone, retreating to the back when the door opens. With gentle encouragement and reassurance, she slowly comes out, learning that a leash leads to good things. A walk outside and some soft pets help her feel secure. Candy has a kind spirit and absolutely no meanness in her. She's a gentle, friendly girl looking for a friend to help build her confidence. A few calming pets and tasty treats will go a long way in earning her trust. Ready to help her blossom? Hit apply and let's get started.
