About Amaretto
Amaretto is a resilient boy who has faced considerable challenges in his short life. Rescued from the streets around 5 years old, he's made impressive strides on his journey to recovery. After undergoing surgery to correct entropion in his right eyelid, heβs feeling much better, although he may still have slightly watery eyes from time to time. This affectionate cat enjoys the company of humans, but he can become overstimulated. When overwhelmed, he may communicate this with a scratch or warning bite, so he requires an experienced cat owner who can read feline body language and respect his boundaries. Amaretto is also fine with other friendly cats and would thrive in a calm home where he can have his own space. Dogs are not a match for him. Though Amaretto is FIV-positive, this diagnosis does not hinder his ability to lead a long, happy life with the right care and companionship. With proper veterinary care, he can safely coexist with other cats and enjoy a comfortable environment. After so many rough days, Amaretto deserves to discover the warmth of a loving home, complete with soft beds and kind hearts. Could you be the one to give him the loving home he craves? If you're someone who understands the value of patience and compassion, Amaretto is eager for his second chance.
