About Roux

Roux is a charming 2-year-old, 25-pound Cocker Spaniel who is ready to find his forever home. Currently living with a loving foster in Springfield, VA, he adores snuggling for hours on the couch. Roux has made great progress with house training, staying accident-free in recent days, but he'll need a consistent routine with regular potty breaks. This sweet boy thrives on companionship and will do best in a home with another playful dog and a securely fenced yard. Loud city noises unsettle him, so a quieter environment is ideal. Roux came into care heartworm positive but is undergoing treatment sponsored by OBG. Thankfully, this condition is not contagious to humans or other dogs, so he's available for adoption during his care. If you're in the VA/DC/MD area and think Roux could be your new best friend, reach out for more information!
