About Maisie
Maisie is a sweet girl in search of a bright future. This Great Pyrenees and Collie mix is about one year old and weighs around 35 lbs. She’s currently living in a shelter and needs a foster or forever home in the DC area. Maisie is friendly with other dogs, and while we haven't seen her around cats or kids, we believe she could fit in well with a dog-savvy family. Given her shy personality, it's essential for her to go to a home with a resident dog to guide her through the transition. Having recently escaped from Florida’s hurricane disaster, Maisie is glad to be safe. She's smart, loyal, and has the potential to be a cherished companion. She might be shy at first, but with love and patience, she will bond deeply with her family. Maisie enjoys playtime, cuddles, and would thrive in an environment where she can engage in toys, games, and perhaps even dog training. If you’re ready to provide a warm home for this lovely girl, come meet her and see if you could be her forever family! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
