Meet Penny. After spending 142 days at Casa Grande Shelter, Penny is finally experiencing the good life in a loving foster home, where she's showing what an incredible companion she can be. Penny is a 2-year-old spayed Pit Bull mix who is vaccinated, dog-friendly, and house-trained. Her friendly nature shines as she loves everyone she meets, and she's especially doing well with older kids (14+) in her foster home. We're still figuring out how she feels about cats. This smart and funny girl enjoys her exercise outings but finds joy in curling up on the couch or her favorite dog bed afterward. Penny is non-destructive when left alone and walks well on a leash; she signals her foster mom when she needs to go outside. After 142 days of waiting, Penny is eager for a family that will show her how wonderful life outside the shelter can be. Could that be you?
