Prim
AvailablePrim is a 1-year-old female mixed breed dog, weighing about what you'd expect for a small breed. She has a beautiful coat with shades of gray and tan. Prim is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She's house trained and gets along well with cats. Currently located in Austin, TX, she is looking for a quiet home to help her through her recovery.
About Prim
Prim is a gentle soul who has had a tough journey lately. After being adopted as a puppy, she recently returned to the rescue when her family faced serious challenges. To complicate matters, she was hit by a car, leaving her with injuries that have since been treated by our veterinary team. Now, sheβs looking for a quiet medical foster home where she can recuperate and eventually prepare for a forever home. Meeting new people can be overwhelming for Prim, but with a little time, her sweet and kind nature shines through. She loves to lean in close for affection, soaking up all the love she can get. Prim does well at home alone, often resting peacefully. She has previously lived with cats and gets along with dogs, but needs a calm environment to heal, so no rough play with other animals is allowed during her recovery. Primβs foster family will need to keep her calm for the next eight weeks, as she has strict activity restrictions. Short, controlled leash walks are the only allowed outings for bathroom breaks. If you're ready to provide a quiet space and lots of patience for her healing journey, please reach out to foster Prim. Your new best friend is just one click away.
