About Luz

Meet Luz, a delightful little bundle of joy whose name means ‘light’ in Spanish. At just about two years old, she radiates happiness despite having been shuffled around in her short life. Weighing around 7 pounds, Luz is often described as a mixed-terrier with a long, flowing coat that shines with warmth. Though her previous family gave up on her, they missed the affectionate and playful companion that Luz truly is. A real cuddle bug, she adores snuggling up and will happily claim your lap as her throne. This intelligent pup is crate trained, uses a doggy door, and is fully house trained, but she thrives on companionship and prefers not to be left alone for long. Luz gets along well with other smaller dogs and enjoys belly rubs, riding quietly in the car, and a good night’s sleep until morning. This little explorer can jump high and is crafty about finding her way out of pens, so a secure crate is essential for her safety when needed. If you’re ready to provide Luz the stable and loving home she deserves, she can’t wait to meet you!
