About Liko

Liko’s journey began almost two years ago under incredibly tragic circumstances. As a newborn, she and her family faced the worst of humanity but thankfully were rescued just in time. Growing into a lovely young dog, Liko once found a forever home but is now searching again, through no fault of her own. It’s hard not to sympathize with her. Although a bit shy at first, once Liko trusts, she becomes a loyal companion. She loves being by your side and cuddling after a fun day outdoors. Liko is crate and potty trained, knows basic commands, and walks nicely on a leash. She thrives on routine and enjoys plenty of activity. A sunbeam is her favorite spot, and she revels in walks, hikes, and playful adventures. Her playful nature earned her the nickname "Mayhem" among her foster family—she’s known for rolling in mud puddles and playfully being a bit goofy. Liko would do best as the only dog in the household but gets along with cats and would fit well with older children who respect her space. She truly deserves a stable, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, Liko is available for transport within the continental U.S. However, we cannot adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time.
