About Liko

Liko's story is one of survival and resilience. Nearly two years ago, she, her mother, and her siblings faced terrifying cruelty at such a tender age; thankfully, they were rescued just in time. Now, Liko is looking for a place to call home once again after a brief stint in what we hoped would be her forever family. Despite her shy beginnings, Liko quickly warms up to those she trusts. Once she knows you're safe, she becomes a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to spend her days by your side and cuddle up next to you in the evenings. She is crate trained, potty trained, and incredibly smart, knowing commands like sit, stay, down, and place. She enjoys structure, physical activity, and strong bonds with her people. Liko adores sunny days and can often be found lounging in the sun or enjoying hikes and splashes in the pool. Her playful personality adds a special charm, with her foster family lovingly calling her “Mayhem” due to her entertaining antics like rolling in mud puddles and chasing her tail. While she gets along with other dogs, Liko truly flourishes as the only pet in the household, enjoying space to love freely. She’s fine with cats and would do best with older kids who understand her boundaries. Liko deserves a stable, loving family that appreciates her journey and never makes her wonder where she belongs again. Let’s make sure her next chapter is filled with love and laughter.
