About Otis

Meet Otis, the sweet Domestic Short Hair looking for a calm and cozy forever home. Otis arrived at the rescue on October 16th, 2026, and is eager for a space where he can settle in at his own pace. As a proud member of the "No Cats-No Dogs" club, he prefers to be the only pet and would thrive in an environment without the hustle and bustle of young children. Building trust with Otis will require a gentle approach. Spending quiet time together sharing soft blinks and tasty treats is the key to his heart. He enjoys playing and gentle petting, but it's important to recognize his body language and let him engage on his own terms. Playtime is best with wand toys and some mental enrichment, so he can also understand when it's time to rest. If you think Otis is the right fit for your home, keep in mind to bring a large and secure top-loading carrier on adoption day!
