About Monty

Monty is a 3-year-old, 5.9 lb long-haired Chihuahua who arrived at the rescue after being surrendered by his previous owner in Texas. This sweet, cuddly little guy has had a sheltered life; he had never experienced grass, a leash, or stairs before joining us. As a result, Monty can be shy and nervous, but he is learning quickly and adjusting well. He thrives in a calm environment, so a quiet home without children would suit him best. Monty loves to curl up on your lap, making him the perfect little companion, especially for those who appreciate a handbag-sized dog. Once he gets more comfortable, he will be a fantastic addition to a loving family. Monty is scheduled to be neutered next week and will be ready for his forever home soon. Monty’s adoption fee is $550. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
