Sugar is a delightful young female mixed breed who arrived at the HSOV on October 9th, 2026. A kind Good Samaritan found her wandering on Township Road 265 in Fleming, Ohio. Upon her arrival, it was clear Sugar was anxious and unsure, but her sweet nature shines through. Her shiny black and white coat complements her large paws and long tail, while a white stripe runs down her forehead, enhancing her adorable face. Sugar has dark brown eyes and floppy ears that frame her lovely features. Despite her apprehension, she eagerly seeks affection, rolling over to solicit belly rubs, which shows her friendly spirit. She’s about 25 lbs, making her a small but lovely companion. Sugar hasn’t had much experience with a leash, but she enjoys being carried, which makes her feel safe. Since no one has come forward to claim her, Sugar is now ready for adoption. She will be spayed before her official adoption, but you can foster her or foster-to-adopt while she waits.
